Stamatia is in high demand both as a classical piano teacher and as an advanced theory and composition teacher in the UK. Students currently come for a lesson in her studio from all different places (all areas of Kent, London, Colchester, Surrey, France etc).
She has been internationally lecturing to a large amount of University students but also teaching consistently for the last 27 years on a one to one basis students from all different levels, ages and cultural backgrounds both privately and at institutions such as Texas Christian University (USA), Texas Preparatory Division at Texas Christian University, Hellenic Mediterranean University (former The Technological Institute of Crete of Higher Education (Gr)), Tiegerman Conservatoire (GR), and currently in Junior King's and Senior King's in Canterbury (UK).

Students in the UK
From the 27 years of teaching, the last 14 years have been in the UK. During these years, many of her students, in both composition and piano, won scholarships, bursaries and free tuition in prestigious schools and Universities and Conservatoires (the Royal Academy of Music, King's school in Canterbury, Guildhall school of Music and Drama etc.), other awards in musical composition, won first and second places on established Festivals (Sevenoaks Summer Festival, Ashford Arts Festival - Steinway Piano Competition, Kent International Piano Courses etc.), performed in prestigious halls (The Steinway Hall in London etc.), were admitted to UK Universities, Conservatoires and/or received postgradute studentships (Edinburg University, Falmouth University, Christ Church University, Guildhall School of Music and Drama etc.), had 100% success on diplomas (ABRSM and Trinity diplomas grades 1 to 8, ARSM, Dip/ABRSM and LRSM) and completed undergraduate modules and projects in composition and performance (University of Kent etc.) under her guidance successfully.
Approach in Piano
She has specialised on developing dexterity without causing hand tension while at the same time focusing on interpretation and on the student's quality of sound. A detailed musical analysis on the student's performing compositions (interpretation and technique change according to the composer's style and genre) is also vital during lessons. Stamatia follows an innovative philosophical, communicative and highly technical approach in her teaching. Also, her extensive research on piano memorisation - Master's Dissertation: Pedagogical Approaches to Piano memorisation:The Importance of Analysis for Retaining Piano Music - and her extensive analysis and practical expertise on sight-reading have helped her students to facilitate those areas immensely.
Approach in Composition
Her primary target is to help students develop their own voice and achieve their goal in composition by enhancing their creativity, developing an affinity and a better conceptual understanding in music, improving their methodology, obtaining a more spherical knowledge, discovering solutions to unresolved compositional problems, analysing methods in order to expand and develop their compositional ideas, using various both conventional and experimental stylistic materials in their compositions and last but not least understanding of how orchestration and arrangement works on various musical styles and genres.
Composition with young children and adolescents
It is amazing how creative young students can be! With a variety of innovative methods Stamatia's students learn to free their minds by experiment with various compositional concepts on various styles and genres, classical, non classical, pop and folk from around the world, while at the same time they learn to use all the technical skills they need in order to be able to compose short instrumental and electronic compositions. Most students perform their compositions in various school recitals and national festivals.
Masterclasses/Seminars
She has contacted a series of piano seminars and participated in masterclasses of world-class concert pianists such as Vovka Ashkenazy, Oxana Yablonskaya and of the legendary pianist Eugeny Kissin.
